When I click on the page icon in the address bar I get a message that says "Could not save item"

I am using Firefox 34
Zotero 4.0.23.1
Mac OS 10.7.5

I suddenly started having this problem 2 days ago.
I got a message I had used up all my storage space, so I paid to upgrade to 2GB

I can download and save to my desktop, just not through Zotero.

Will appreciate any and all help as I am working on a dissertation and would hate to lose this now ....

So the url I added above has a EBSCO translator ....
I have a similar issue with Amazon

    url: http://www.amazon.com/The-Dream-Earth-Thomas-Berry/dp/1578051355/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1414033012&sr=8-1&keywords=thomas+berry

When I click on the book icon it a box opens up saying it is saving ... it stays open for a few seconds then just closes and nothing was saved.

Also -- I have disabled all add-ons except zotero and word integration
  • Firefox 34 is a beta version of Firefox, and Zotero doesn't yet work with it due to changes on Mozilla's end. Downgrade to Firefox 33, the latest released version of Firefox.
  • Firefox 34 is still in beta. Zotero is not guaranteed to function with beta version of Firefox. In this case, changes in Firefox 34 broke a lot of translators and we still have not addressed the issue. I would suggest switching to the stable release channel for Firefox (which is still at 33).
  • Thanks --- that seems to have done it --- I had an feeling that may be the issue .....
