Capitalize all references at once?

Hi!

Is there a way to transform ALL of the titles of the bibliography at once to sentence case?

I know it can be done individually. You can set capitalization for titles in the Firefox plugin by right clicking on the "Title" field of a reference and choosing the appropriate option under "Transform Text". But I have hundreds of references that need transforming to sentence case in accordance to APA, and it would take me hours to do this manually.
  • Not really. There is an option to sentence case in CSL styles, but it would lowercase every proper noun, too, which is why it's not used in any official citations style, so you're probably better off fixing this once and for all and be done with it.
  • Thanks for the reply.
I ended up removing Zotero codes when the bibliography was almost done, and editing the bibliography manually in Word.
  • Adam, I'm having the same problem on my mac. What do you mean by "fixing this once and for all and be done with it"? What is the "fix"?
  • fix it in Zotero in the data. Yes, you'll have to do it for every item, but those will be correct in all future bibliographies you use them in, regardless of what capitalization rules that requires.
