limit to number of shared folders?

Is there a limit to the number of folders that can be shared with a particular user? Here is the problem an instructor asked me about:
Several of her classes are sharing their private folders with her.She can only see the first 50 alphabetically, the rest don't show up, and when she searches for the students names they don't come up either.

    Not in theory, but it's possible there's a bug since I don't think anyone has tested using more than 50 groups.
    Does she only look online, or is this in the client, too?
    Also, wouldn't she receive invitations--those should contain a link to the library that she can use.

    The instructor reports that she is able to see all of the shared folders in the Zotero client, but not online. Maybe it has something to do with her online storage capacity?

    No. that was a (relatively arbitrary) limit on the website. For the moment we've increased that limit to 100. There will be no such limitation in the near future.
