Adding an Article in a Journal/Adding a Chapter from a Book

Is it possible to group an article from a theological journal or a chapter from a book under the journal/book entry that they are in? For example, if I wanted to add an article, "The Importance of Theology" to my Zotero library, could I add it as an item in the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society (JETS) Volume 5 number 6 so that it appears just like an attached file? I haven't been able to find such a feature but I think it would make the catalog so much cleaner. I really hope there is a way to do this.
  • No. Generally this is probably still planned, but it's not a high priority and it's not going to happen any time soon (as in certainly not within a year, and quite possibly not within five).

Maybe a saved search with your criterions publication="Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society", volume="5", number="6" will be interesting for you in the meantime. Moreover, you can add fields to sort your collections in different ways, e.g. by sorting by volume and number.
  • adamsmith, That's what I was afraid of. It seems like a very simple and logical feature to add but that's just the way things are I guess.

zuphilip, thanks for the suggestion. I'll definitely have to look into that more.
  • It's not simple at all. That's why very few reference managers offer it.
