Webpages say they are syncing but do not show up in library

Webpages say they are syncing but do not show up in library; not receiving any error messages. I am using Zotero Standalone for Firefox. Help?

You'll have to elaborate on what you mean here.
  • And there's no such thing as "Zotero Standalone for Firefox" — there's Zotero Standalone and Zotero for Firefox (though it's possible to use both together).
  • In general, see https://www.zotero.org/support/reporting_bugs — we need lots more info to help you.
  • When I click on the icon in the corner of URL bar it says "Saving to My Library" and then "Snapshot" but then NOTHING appears in My Library, anywhere. No error message. Is it possible that my browser is synced to another account?
  • 1) What program is this in?

    2) Provide a Report ID.

    3) What URL are you trying to save?
  • 1) Zotero Standalone

    2) [JavaScript Error: "bad script XDR magic number"]

version => 4.0.22, platform => MacIntel, oscpu => Intel Mac OS X 10.7, locale => en-US, appName => Zotero, appVersion => 4.0.22, extensions => Zotero Word for Mac Integration (3.5.7.SA.4.0.22, extension), Zotero LibreOffice Integration (3.5.9.SA.4.0.22, extension), Shockwave Flash (15.0.0.152, plugin), Google Talk Plugin Video Renderer (5.4.2.18903, plugin), Google Talk Plugin (5.4.2.18903, plugin), QuickTime Plug-in 7.7.1 (7.7.1, plugin), Silverlight Plug-In (5.1.20913.0, plugin), Java Applet Plug-in (Java 7 Update 25, plugin), Flip4Mac Windows Media Plugin (2.4.0.11, plugin), SharePoint Browser Plug-in (14.1.0, plugin)

    3) Any and every URL I have ever tried to save.

Sorry, I hope this is the correct info.

    Zotero Standalone
    With what browser? Firefox?

If so, what happens if you close Standalone and view your Zotero library in Firefox itself? (In the Zotero pane, not online at zotero.org.) Do you see the items?
  • Firefox and no, it does not show up on the Standalone or on the website.
  • I'm asking about the Zotero pane in Firefox, not in Standalone or on the website.
  • (I'm in a rush, but I'd bet this is Standalone and Firefox version running on different data directories. Almost all such reports are).
  • (Yup.)
  • I don't know what you mean by pane - sorry I'm dumb.
  • Close Zotero Standalone completely, and then click the Z in the Firefox toolbar. A Zotero pane will open at the bottom of Firefox, and you'll probably see your items. It's an easy fix after that, but let's get that far first.
  • Holy crap, everything is here. Now how do I get it work on my Standalone OR merge my Standalone with the in-browser option.
