Quote of a website

Hello forum,

I have a problem with adding a website in Zotero. I read in the documentation, that there is special button in the top line to add a website, but I don't see this button in my program window. Do I have to make any special preferences or do I have to install a special add-on to get this feature?

https://www.zotero.org/support/installation to figure out what you want to install (note that the "Zotero" button in Firefox has recently been moved to the top bar and is now just a "Z")

https://www.zotero.org/support/quick_start_guide should be pretty good at showing you what you're supposed to be seeing.

Otherwise, what browser are you using and what web page are you looking at?

just right-click anywhere in the page, from the context menu select "Create New Web Page Item from Current Page"
You'll have to adjust the data on that page manually.

Though this is, hopefully, not a typical source of metadata. You will generally be able to import good quality metadata using the URL bar icon (you shouldn't use the right-click feature if you can avoid it), but this page does not expose metadata and we don't have a scraper for that website.
