Sharing PDF files via zotero.org in a public, closed group to non Zotero members

Can anyone let me know if it is possible for non Zotero members to access PDF files in a public, closed group? We'd really like to do this so that we can share research with others (including PDFs as attachments) by simply providing a website link. Any help appreciated.

    By design, to avoid potential copyright violations, it is not possible to publicly share file attachments using Zotero services. There might be ways to bypass this restriction (e.g. using Dropbox or Zotero API to serve files from your own website), but this will not be possible using zotero.org (in the future, it will be possible to publicly share self-authored works, upon confirming that you, in fact, have the right to share)

    no, there is no way to create publicly accessible links to attachments hosted on zotero.org

    Zotero doesn't have the capacity do deal with the takedown notices that would invariably bring along.
