Extending group ownership/multiple owners

Dear Zotero,

I'm working on a collaborative group project, and we find we keep having to transfer group ownership back and forth -- else we're misunderstanding how to user Zotero.

Things >1 of us need to do:

-- add files
-- add and manage collection hierarchies
-- add notes

It seems only the owner can do this? What are we doing wrong? Or could be assign multiple owners to a group?
  • The owner/admins can change permissions to allow those things under the group's library settings.
  • Thanks -- couldn't find that specifically addressed in the documentation, and still can't find a way to do that in the standalone app (found it in the web interface, but both seem like oversights).

    And no, it can't be done in the client, but obviously it's not an oversight — the functionality just doesn't exist.
  • Right. It was just awkward, having to explain to my principal investigator that she had to use the app but then also navigate the web site (two different modes of interaction for the same app).
