I've lost my address bar icon

Running Firefox 30 on a Snow Leopard Mac Book Pro. Upgraded to FIrefox 31. Normally/previously when I bring up a web page, I set an icon in the address bar to "save to zotero". This isn't showing up any more. When I go to sites that have known translators (Amazon etc), the appropriate icon is coming up - how do I re-activate the save this webpage icon.

    You're misremembering this. There's never been an icon that appears on all webpages — there's only an icon on pages there are translators for.

    To save a regular webpage, you use the Create Web Page Item from Current Page button in the Zotero toolbar or right-click on the page and choose Zotero -> Create Web Page Item from Current Page.

    Yup, that was it, must have been the "right click" -> create web pages that I was thinking of.

    I cannot get my icon that allows me to load footnotes up on my mac laptop screen. I am using a new air, and it all worked on my old mac book pro. Help!

    1. How do I make Zotero show up at the bottom of my screen like the tutorial shows around second 38 in the Zotero tutorial? I am not seeing an icon at the bottom of my screen:

    2. I am also not seeing the book/article icon in my address bar which would allow me to import items into Zotero.

    NOTE: I am running through Firefox.
