No sync to desktop or papership

My library isnt synching with my desktop libray. And have been unable to sync with Papership maybe due to same reason?

    There are no real Zotero errors in there, though it looks like you might be having trouble with WebDAV syncing. Are you getting an actual red sync error icon? Can you provide a Debug ID for a sync attempt that produces one?
  • I don't get any message that tells me why its not synching. I initially set up a WebDav account with 4share as I thought I needed to to sync with Papership. But it didnt work and when I asked them they said 4share isnt compatible anymore and just use Zotero file storage. So I changed my settings back to that but it still doesnt sync.

    Sorry but I have no idea why it isnt working.
  • I am creating a library with the Zotero app. But nothing is showing up in my library on the desktop when I log into Zotero. Also I can't get it to sync with Papership.

  • But what you say is confusing. "nothing is showing up in my library on the desktop when I log into Zotero". You do not need to log in to see your library in the desktop application (if you're using Firefox, click the Zotero icon next to the URL bar. If you're using another browser, you should be using Zotero Standalone). I'm assuming you are checking online at zotero.org and not on your desktop. Nevertheless, see Dan's instructions.

    I apologise if I am not being clear enough. I am just trying to find out why there is nothing in my online library when I log onto zotero.org. I am using the same computer to use the app and log online to my account so there is nothing in the links that I can see that answers that question. Unless I am mistaken in assuming that my online library should be synced with that in my library via the app. I am a new user so just trying to figure out how it works and use the forum and Q&As to get an answer. I appreciate your patience.

    Right, that's what we were asking — "my library on the desktop" just wasn't clear.

    Did you check your username in the Sync preferences, as explained on the linked page?

    If so, can you provide a Debug ID for a sync attempt?
