Error Starting Zotero Prompt

I am getting the "There is an error starting Zotero." I restarted zotero and the computer but no change. Below is what it says in the error console in my tools tab. In addition to these errors, there are several "Zotero is undefined" showing as well.

    What OS, Firefox version are you running? Have you followed the steps here?

    I tried to follow the directions on that link but couldnʻt figure out how to accomplish step 2.

    Which part was not clear? Are you unable to find your Firefox profile directory? This may be helpful (though Firefox profile directory will be two directories up from what's indicated).

    Also, we do need to know your OS and Firefox version

    Iʻm heading to my office now. Iʻll follow up in about 30 minutes with the OS and firefox version

    I am using OS X 10.8.5 and Firefox 21.0

    You'll need to update Firefox (the current version is 31). Also make sure your Zotero is up to date (check under Add-ons in Firefox). It should be at 4.0.21.5

    My Zotero is up to date. Iʻll update Firefox next.
