Manuscript: How to customize citation in Word so that it doesn't show all info from Zotero record?
Hi. I work with manuscripts and I'd like to know if there is a way in which I can give my own title to a nameless document so that I have an idea of what they are about within Zotero -- say "Jon buys house" -- but NOT have it appear in the Word document footnotes when I cite it? What format are manuscript-based historians using exactly for their citations? An ideal for mat would be something like "Jon to Jane, DATE. ARCHIVE, Ms Location, Sheet number."
Thanks very much.

Chicago styles format manuscripts correctly; not sure about other styles. Your "Jon to Jane" example seems more suited for a letter item type though; Chicago would cite letters correctly as well.
