Thesis problem

Hi all,

I'm using Harvard style and it doesn't seem to insert the info about MA/PhD Thesis and the university when I get the bibliography generated...
Anyone got an idea why?

The current version of the Harvard style doesn't yet support styling of theses. If you feel comfortable editing XML-files, you could try to fix this yourself (http://dev.zotero.org/creating_citation_styles). Alternatively, you could wait for a fix to be implemented.

unfortunately I really haven't got a clue how to edit it. Is there a very close style to Harvard one that I could use instead?

I just added thesis formatting to the development version of Harvard format 1 according to the style guide (http://libweb.anglia.ac.uk/referencing/harvard.htm?harvard_id=49#49). You can install this style either via the style repository (http://www.zotero.org/styles, look under Additional Styles) or directly via this link: http://www.zotero.org/styles/harvard1/dev?install=1

As the Thesis item type doesn't (yet) have a Place-field, you should enter "Place: University" in the University field. The level of the thesis (e.g. "Ph. D.") can be entered in the Type field.
