Superscript: In-text & biliography

I am currently editing a paper that is looking for the in-text citations to be formatted in superscript format and the bibliography to reflect the citations in order of appearance, instead of ABC order.

Is there an easy way to do this... with avoiding HTML codes? I want to be able to do this and do it right. Thank you!
  • tons of available styles do this: Nature, Vancouver Superscript, and many others. It's unfortunately hard to tell from the preview in the repository, but maybe start with these or use:
    http://editor.citationstyles.org/searchByExample/
  • (there isn't any particular reason why the style previews couldn't show examples of in-text citations as well, right?)
  • They used to, as you may recall. Dan would have to say why he changed that.
