Loss of library after PC breakdown and acquisition of new PC

My PC broke down and I got a new PC.
After download of Zotero I logged in using my usual login data and found to my surprise that the library was empty.
What did I do wrong?

    Can you see your library here on zotero.org under https://www.zotero.org/hbrphd/items/ ?

    If no, then your old Zotero setup was either not set up to sync or was experiencing issues (or you were using a different account). If you do see your items on zotero.org, then run through https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/changes_not_syncing

    The account you're posting from has no items online and doesn't appear to have ever synced.

    Thank you for your comments. I realize that my libraries have been lost. However, I do have the references list in various of my papers and drafts together with the text articles themselves saved as word files. Easy to convert them to text files and text2bib and then back in Zotero as adviced at the Zotero home page.
