Translators do not work

None of my science-related translators are working. Articles from any Highwire journals (i. e. http://jvi.asm.org/cgi/content/abstract/JVI.01940-08v1), Nature (though, older Nature article appear to work), Science, Pubmed Central, and PNAS, for example, all show "Embedded RDF" instead of the proper translator.

I've tried everything in the resolving translators issues document as well as removing any proxy settings to no avail. Also, I've been able to reproduce this in a fresh installation of 1.5-sync2.2 in Flock2 (to avoid any potential profile-related issues). I've submitted bug report 543862310 but I did not see anything related to Zotero in the error console. Running Firefox from the command line, the only entries I get are:

2008-10-26 13:23:46.686 firefox-bin[43670:10b] apple
2008-10-26 13:23:54.167 firefox-bin[43670:10b] 55,33

These lines do not appear upon opening a journal page but instead show up over and over as time goes on whenever I run Firefox, regardless of having any journals open.
  • Translator priority is broken in 2.2.
  • Ah, so that is what that statement means.

Is there anyway to disable/delete the Embedded RDF translator to get around this?
  • sean Zotero Team
The problem is fixed on the trunk, and we expect to release a new version of the Sync Preview tomorrow that contains this fix, among many others. Thanks for your patience.
  • Oh, awesome. This is the only problem I've had with the Sync Preview so that is great news.

    Thanks for the info.
