"The source folder is not vaild"

What does this message mean? Zotero appears to be syncing properly, but it gives me this message when I eneter new info on an item.

I tried to go to Zotfile preferences within the browser, but when I click, nothing comes up.

    It's a ZotFile error message and it won't actually cause any problems for you.
    In Standalone, ZotFile doesn't have a default folder where it looks for new attachments to add--that's why you get that error message. You can get rid of it by either setting a valid folder or disabling the functionality in the ZotFile preferences. Obviously you can't do that if they don't open. Try again, makes sure the window isn't just hiding behind the main Zotero window. Also try opening them from Tools-->add-ons extension.
