opening an attachment

I entered news articles from Proquest's New York Times index -- Zotero added a pdf and a snapshop of each article. Now I cannot open either. Any suggestions? I can go back to the original but thought all would be stored with each reference article.

    what happens if you try opening them?

    I was trying to open from "my library" a lovely page with entries printed in blue. There, double clicking on the pdf icon goes nowhere. If, on the other hand, I go to the complete library as it appears at the bottom of the browser, I can click the attachment column and the file opens. So, I'm assuming there is no problem, but now wondering what purpose the "my library" page serves. Obviously I'm a new user.
