DOI translator does not work with pubmed.com

Hello,

I have a sudden problem with pubmed.com, a site that worked prefectly until today. The problem is that the zotero icon in the adress bar does not show for most articles and when it shows it gives me an error, ID : 120242588. I tried at to save an article from the new york times and it works perfectly. I suspect that I have a problem with the DOI-translator but I have no idea how to fix it. (I already tried to reset te translators and it didn't work).

Try again now. PubMed metadata service can intermittently go down, but it usually comes back after a short while. (It's working from my end)

It still doesn't work for me. I can maybe wait to see if it works in the afternoon (I've been trying to get it to work for a couple of hours).

Dan will be able to see what error you're getting from the Report ID above and we'll know for sure. Though in the mean time, you were talking about the DOI translator above, but for the page you linked above, the translator should be NCBI PubMed. What do you see when you hover over the Zotero URL bar icon on that page?

The following message is shown: "Enregistrer dans Zotero (DOI)" it's in french but in english it should be something like "Save in Zotero (DOI)". That's why I thought the translator was called DOI. However I recently tried with another page also on pubmed that said "pubmed central" and it did not work neither.

I checked all points in the document and nothing changes. I reset the translators but nothing changes there either.

looks like there is an issue with Zotero and the latest Firefox ESR release:

could you clarify whether you're using Iceweasel or Firefox?

If you can, install Firefox 30 and this will almost certainly work again. Otherwise, might take some time to figure out. Obviously the ESR version should work.
