I'm using Zotero and tried to search for "Review", to see if it could distinguish review articles from original ones. Zotero crashed. I tried restarting firefox, and can save new entries, but the problem recurs when I search "review" again.

    Your database is corrupted. Upgrade to Firefox 3, which fixes database instability problems in Firefox 2, and then use the DB Repair Tool to repair your database.

    Fortunately I saved a backup database just before this happened. Unfortunately Firefox 3 is not quite stable on linux. Can I use the DB Repair tool and continue with 2 for now?

    You can continue to use Firefox 2, but you might want to regularly run "Check Database Integrity" from the Advanced pane of the Zotero prefs (or run "PRAGMA integrity_check;" manually) and make frequent backups.
