Where are Zotero servers?

Hi, I was wondering where the Zotero servers are situated: In the States? In Europe? And how that data centre is powered: Green energy? Energy efficiency? / Best Jonas

Zotero uses the Amazon Cloud services in the US.

tbh I don't think Zotero has the person-power to also do environmental activism - it's also pretty small fish compared to some of AWS's other clients, so it's not like there'd be much leverage. It's probably more effective for people to lobby individually (or lobby one of the big players like Netflix).
