No references can be saved into Zotero
Zotero version: 4.0.19
Zotero type: Firefox add-on
Firefox version: 28.0
OS: Windows 7 Professional

I have been having some issues with Zotero over the past few days. Previously, I used to be able to go to a search engine, such as Google Scholar or JSTOR, and I would see the "Save to Zotero" icon in the address bar to save an article or book reference. However, when I click the "Save to Zotero" icon now, I receive a message in Google Scholar that says that I cannot save the item due to Known Translator Issues. Moreover, I have tried other sites and databases, such as JSTOR (where I have an account and have previously been able to import citations and PDFs into Zotero using the "Save to Zotero" icon and ZotFile Reader), but nothing happens when I click on the "Save to Zotero" icon. Finally, I find that PDF attachments are no longer are imported automatically along with the citation into Zotero, and creating a webpage from the PDF and retrieving the metadata from the PDF does not work either. I have tried to go through the Zotero forums to search for solutions, and I have attempted the following with no success:
1. Resetting my translators
2. Updating my translators and styles
3. Uninstalling and re-installing the Zotero icon
4. Updating my Firefox version
5. Disabling all other Firefox add-ons to see if there are any incompatible add-ons.
Finally, I decided to report my error to the forum. I have also tried to debug log the issues and have submitted a debug log (ID D739255141) to the Zotero server.
Any support on this matter is greatly appreciated!

I also just ran another debug log to show that when I try to click on the "Save to Zotero (HighWire 2.0)" button to save the following article http://qje.oxfordjournals.org.ezp-prod1.hul.harvard.edu/content/122/3/1235.short, I end up successfully importing the citation into my Zotero add-on, but not the PDF attachment, which was working earlier with ZotFile. The debug log ID for this issue is D1702510563.
See Troubleshooting Translator Issues, specifically the part about cookie settings.
(Also, it's not a "Known Translator Issue" error — the message just says to check that page for known issues, though it should be worded more clearly.)
