How to save to Z while in Safari ?

I have a StandAlone Z - it works with FireFox only
How to make it work with Safari ?

do you have the safari connector installed? (https://www.zotero.org/download/ )
If so, do you get a URL bar icon (note that it's to the left of the URL bar in Safari) for http://www.worldcat.org/title/wealth-of-nations-books-i-iii/oclc/8424650&referer=brief_results ?

ok - it should be where the pinterest and amazon buttons are. Try disabling your other Safari extensions (and please do confirm that you have the Zotero extension installed _in Safari_)

You mentioned Safari Connector, Zotero Extension and Stand Alone Zotero.
I am quite perplexed.

Safari Connector and Zotero extension in Safari are the same thing. Do you have that installed?

Z Extension is installed. I see a Z icon on the URL bar.
On hovering says: Z is offline. The icon is greyed. Not clickable

OK, getting there. Do you have Zotero Standalone open when you try that?
Did you try on the worldcat page above?

Z indicates saving the World Cat (or other pages) but where is it saved ?
It is not in Z My Library (sorted by date)

it's possible that it saves it to the online version of your library, so you could check there. You have Standalone open when you're trying this?

Restarted the computer. Now it works.
FireFox needs not the Stand Alone version, maybe it is what you mean by "online version"
Those two are identical in content.

no, by "online" I really do mean online, i.e. the version of your library on zotero.org - if Standalone isn't open or, for whatever reason, not detected by the Safari connector, items will save directly to your online library.

to get the equivalent of the "Create new Webpage Item" button in Zotero for Firefox in Safari, just right-click (ctrl+click) anywhere in the page and select "Save as Zotero Snapshot". Only thing that won't work for is PDFs.
