I want my AMA

I am attempting to upgrade my citations to AMA style. When I go to the repository I get this:

Update Existing style "AMA....." with "AMA....."from https://www.zotero.org/styles.....with ? I select Install (Mac 10.6.8) and nothing happens.

Any ideas?

    I'm not quite sure what you expect to happen? Generally citation styles udpate automatically, so there's no need to update manually. What are you trying to do?

    I don't have the selection of AMA as a citation option so I am trying to obtain that. I followed the instructions under citations on the website.

    OK, check in the Zotero preferences under Cite --> Styles
    Is it listed there?

    just to be sure - it would be listed as "American Medical Association" - not as AMA, but I figure you're aware of that.
    Zotero definitely thinks it's installed, that's why you get the prompt for "update" not "install".

    Try resetting your styles from the advanced tab of the Zotero Preferences under "Files and Folders". Restart Zotero and try installing the style again. Does that work?
