Sync does not work with accented characters in file name

Report ID: 322691755 (for Zotero stand-alone error)
Report ID: 1692434001 (for Zotero Firefox plugin error)

I have been getting sync errors for a while and believe to have isolated the issue to some problem with files having accented characters.
Basically, every time the sync process finds a file name with accented characters it throws an error.
I have tried:
1) Deleting the paper from my local library and importing it again with Zotero. It works, but then at the very first sync the issue comes back.
2) Changing the paper's name, syncing it (it works), and then returning the name to its original format. The issue comes back.
3) Rebooting the computer, running Zotero from terminal (I'm in a Macbook Pro, latest version of everything, including Zotero standalone and Firefox plugin), and trying all the above. All to no avail.
The papers are stored in both my local library and in my Zotero virtual space, so it is not a problem of space, corrupted files, or something similar.
If I remove the accented character of one paper then the error happens in the next paper with an accented character, so I would have to change all file names with accented characters in order for Zotero sync to work.

Best regards,
Paulo Costa

Does this happen with 4.0.18 too? No one else has reported this, and I can't reproduce it. Are you running any sort of security software that could be interfering? (FileVault doesn't count.)
