"There was an error starting Zotero" using Firefox 3.1b1pre (Minefield)

Hi all,

I can't get Zotero to work with Minefield. This occurs with tracemonkey either on or off.

Using the same profile and Firefox 3.0.3, Zotero starts up fine. So I'm ruling out a profile issue.

Is this a known issue? What can be done to overcome this?

    OK, the startup error that was occurring in Minefield is now fixed on both the trunk and the branch. We haven't tested in Minefield, so there may be other issues.

    So you're saying I should use the development build of Zotero?

    I'm saying that's where it's fixed. The fix will be included in 1.0.8 and the next 1.5 Sync Preview build.
