Ecology style -- adding DOI?

Can anyone help me create an edited Ecology style by adding a DOI field at the very end of each bibliographic entry? I've looked on the zotero website for instructions and pulled up the zotero CSL editor, but I’m not the least bit fluent in HTML so I don't know what text to insert and where. The update would add the text “DOI:” and then the DOI number after it. But, not all of our pubs have DOIs, so we’d only want this field to show up when a DOI is listed. Her'es an example of how we'd like it to look:

Wondzell, S. M., J. LaNier, and R. Haggerty. 2009. Evaluation of alternative groundwater flow models for simulating hyporheic exchange in a small mountain stream. Journal of Hydrology 364:142–151. DOI: 10.1016/j.jhydrol.2008.10.011

    what is this for?
The general idea is to add
    <text variable="DOI" prefix="DOI: "/> at the end of the <bibliography> section
  • We're using this to manage a bibliography for a proposal and the Ecology style is the closest style we've seen for what we need in terms of how it lists author names, how it does not abbreviate journal names, etc. Except that we need to list the DOI at the end of each reference, where it is available.
  • sorry, see edit above - forum software had swallowed the actually relevant part about what to edit.

If details of bibliography don't matter as much, you can use Chicago (author-date), which is somewhat similar and does include DOIs.
