PDF File not Found

Been using Firefox/Zotero about 1 yr. Recently had to reinstall Firefox after it got corrupted with pop-ups (even though it was set to block); I could not even use Zotero properly.

After reinstalling I can open library PDFs on smartphone but not laptop. I get following:

File not found:
The attached file could not be found.
It may have been moved or deleted outside of Zotero.
Locate (or) Cancel.

    How did you restore your library after re-installing? Did you make a backup beforehand (http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data)?

    Yes. I located the Zotero backup (storage)

    Sorry, but I don't follow. Could you explain exactly how you restored your library?

    Thanks resolved using steps below.
    (1) Loaded an article (pdf) using new installation of Firefox/Zotero.
    (2) Selected imported article in Zotero, right clicked to find storage folder location.
    (3) Searched drive to locate backed up storage folder from previously used Firefox/Zotero.
    (4) Manually copied old folders to same location of newly loaded article in step (1).
    (5) Synced and re-indexed, and was back in business.
