Z fails at saving to My Library

Zotero saves articles to my library from my home computer, but not from my office computer. Any idea what can be wrong??

  • What exactly is happening? And which Zotero version and browser?

  • I have Zotero 4.0.17.1, in Firefox. I get the error message “An error occurred while saving this item.”, referring to known translator error, or similar. It works when I save from ScienceDirect, but not from Sage (don't know which translator they use). After I have tried and failed at saving a publication, next time I try to save something I get the message that it failed because of a previous Zotero error, and I have to restart Firefox. Previously I never had problems saving to Zotero, it always worked perfectly (have been using Zotero for years)

    any advice?

    Best,

at a minimum we'd need the info requested under 12, but ideally run through all the steps.
