Style Error: [McGill Legal Citation 7th Edition]
I just installed the newest version of standalone zotero 4.0.17 and the Safari plug-in. The first thing I did was test the citation functionality with Microsoft Word, it worked when the default styles were selected. (I could simply drag and drop into word).
But when I deleted all the other styles and installed the McGill 7th Edition .csl, that feature no longer worked. Now, when I try to drag and drop into word, I get a "stop" style emoticon, so I physically cannot drop it into word.
Anyone have a solution?

P.S: I'm using the Mac version
Generally, though, I'd recommend using the Word plugin rather than drag&drop
(not related to pdfinfo/pdftotext, btw.—those are just for indexing)
The URL won't work for you since you have to be logged in to the university portal to access it, but for example cases on CanLii also don't work.
https://www.canlii.org/en/ca/scc/doc/2014/2014scc13/2014scc13.pdf
Although, the above case is different, it won't even allow me to click on the Zotero safari-add-on, whereas the rest of the 'privileged' documents, I can click the "Z" but only the snapshot saves, not the PDF.
never mind I just realized what you meant by "directly"... so how do I properly add a PDF to my Zotero, is that not possible?
For PDFs, you can just save them to your HD and drag to Zotero or you can drag the URL to Zotero (I believe that should work on Safari, though not 100% sure about that). But for CanLii specifically, you should just go through the html page: http://canlii.org/en/ca/scc/doc/2014/2014scc13/2014scc13.html which will attach the PDF when you click the URL bar icon.
But when I go to the same link myself, it's a normal symbol of a paper, and I don't get the PDF. I believe the latter instance I am accessing the website using https, could that be it? That is the only difference I can see between the two addresses
