Block sync

Hi there,

Having worked on Zotero standalone for a wee while now, I'm starting to get a little nervous about backing up etc., so I thought I'd sync to the server.

I have 1848 of those little conflicts to resolve.

Can I just batch resolve them in anyway? I fear for my RSI at clicking "use this one" and "next" 1848 times!!!

    If this is just for back-up, i.e. if there is nothing new on the server that isn't in your local library, you can use "Restore to Server" (make sure you pick the right direction ;) from the "Reset" tab in the Sync tab of the Zotero preferences.

    Note that you should not use sync as a replacement for backing up:

    The idea of going in teh wrong direction (even though I can read...etc.) has freaked me out sufficiently to back up first.

    P.S. project concludes on 04/03/14 (dd/mm/yy), I collapse on 05/03, and will be ready to test RIS import from OVID on 06/03!

    FWIW, you'd want to use the Endnote export format, not RIS from OVID.
