Odd (?) Bibliography sort rules
I'm trying to create a style for American Mineralogist. I'd like to switch from EndNote to Zotero, but most of the journals I need styles for (geological ones) are absent from the list. I'm trying American Mineralogist as my first one.
If anybody has a general tutorial for CSL, I'd like to see it. The schema presumes you already understand RELAX NG. Nothing I can fine talks about <label> vs <text> vs <name>, what the role of variables is, and other such details of crafting a style by hand.
AmMin has this sort rule for the bibliography:
1) Sort by author (last name of first author).
2) Within each author's listings:
...A) first list the two-authored papers by the last name of the second author.
...B) next list all the multiple (n > 2) authored papers by year. (They are silent as to how to order same-year multiple-authored papers by the same first author).
Can this scheme be accomodated by CSL? If so, how can it be coded in a style?
Thanks in advance,
Dave

bdarcusNo, though there has been discussion of adding support for it. If Zotero commits to supporting it, I have no problem adding it, but I've not really gotten a firm commitment from them.
