Just downloaded Zotero for Chrome- Nothing will save

I just downloaded Zotero for Chrome. I tested it on an article and the dialog box appeared at the bottom that says "Saving item..." but the article is greyed out in the box and it won't show up in my library.

    Also, do you have Zotero Standalone installed or not?

    Right when I downloaded it, there a Z zotero on my toolbar and I assume that's the standalone. I've since closed it and can't find it anywhere on my computer. URL is nickybates92

    There are two things to download: (1) Zotero Standalone - the giant red button and (2) one of the browser extensions (in your case Chrome) - the buttons right under the Zotero Standalone button.

    And by URL, adamsmith meant which web page are you trying to import from?

    I downloaded Standalone (again, maybe?) and it works now! Thanks
