take off month from vancouver style

Hi somebody knows how to get out the month froma vancouver citation? I cannot understand why my zotero put the month (in italian) in all my references!!! Help!
  • the month is part of the standard form of Vancouver/NLM citations. There are a couple of Vancouver and related styles available on zotero.org/styles that don't use the month, find one of those that fits for you.
    This may help:

  • thanks for your support but i'm still not able to get it. My journal need the vancouver style that looks like that: Brenner S, Tur E, Shapiro J et al. Pemphigus vulgaris: environmental factors. Occupational, behavioral, medical, and qualitative food frequency questionnaire. Int J Dermatol 2001; 40:562–9.
I try all the vancouver style but nothing match! can you help me more??
  • "i'm still not able to get it" doesn't really tell me what you've tried and what isn't working.
  • or in other words - among the Vancouver styles available:
    http://zotero.org/styles?q=vancouver
there are five or six that don't print the month. What's wrong with those?
  • ok sorry, none of these style match the following:
    - superscript without ( )
    - three names and then et al
    - year after the journal name
  • what journal is this for?
  • british journal of dermatology
  • I don't think there's a perfect fit (and this isn't vancouver style, especially not the citations for book chapters), but for journal articles "The Lancet" should work nicely.
  • Thanks so much!
    I really appreciate your help!
  • A style for the BJD is now up. It will appear on the style repository within 30mins.. (See here if you need instructions for installing styles in standalone.)
