Pdf file could not be found

Hi!

I use Zotero 1.07 and everything works but recently I realized that I can't open some of my imported pdf files (let's say 10% of the total library) - Zotero says "The attached file could not be found". I used these files earlier so I'm sure they worked before but I didn't change the Zotero library so I don't really understand what the problem is.

I'd really appreciate if someone could help me in this.

    When you click on one of the problem files try clicking on the "show folder" button at the top of the right pane. Do you see the file in your file system?

    Unfortunately I can't see the file. I got the same message: file not found. I can try to locate the file with the Locate... button but it's impossible to find it in a huge database. Sometimes I experience the same file disappearance when I export my collection (in rdf) and I try to import on another computer.

    I really love zotero but with this problem it's unreliable. :(

    Yes, got the same problem, I'm taking a snapshot of a pdf then get the error message and can't locate it. The See file option doesn't work either. I'm using zotero 1.5 and wonder if going back to Zotero 1.0 would help? Any ideas any one tried it?
