libreoffice crashes when citing an author with diacritical mark in the name
hi guys,
i'm in a hurry for my thesis (due next monday, i wanna cry :*O), and libreoffice keeps freezing whenever i try to cite an article with an accent in the author's name...or at least i think that is the problem. For example, this book i can't cite it in my work : http://books.google.it/books/about/The_Image_of_Madness.html?id=PNjxica5JgIC&redir_esc=y
As a proof, if i change manually the author's name from Guimón to Guimon, zotero succedes in importing the citation and all is fine. How can i get around this problem without going crazy (by the way, my thesis happens to be about psychosis)?
Sorry if i haven't searched for similar discussions in the forum, but really i have no time...and sorry for my english too :)

This is an old discussion that has not been active in a long time. Before commenting here, you should strongly consider starting a new discussion instead. If you think the content of this discussion is still relevant, you can link to it from your new discussion.
Try inserting the reference in a completely new document. If that causes a freeze you know that something is wrong with that record.
I tested by downloading the record from your link into Zotero and inserting it into a LibreOffice document. No freeze. You should try downloading it again and deleting the old record. (If you have used that citation in another manuscript you probably should merge as duplicate Zotero items keeping the new record.)
