Setting up new Group Collection

I'm collaborating with a research assistant to create a bibliography. I want to copy items I have collected in My Library to a new group library I set up for him and me to share. How exactly to I copy items from My Library to this Group Library?

    once you're synced the group library appears at the bottom of the left-hand panel in the Zotero client (i.e. Standalone or for Firefox - not on the webpage). You can then simply drag and drop either items - single or multiple - or entire collections from "My Library" to the group.

    copying, there is currently no way to move.

    edit: that is, apart from copy and then delete in the originating library
