Closed / open membership

I just tried to switch one of my Groups to Open membership. It triggered a warning this would delete files.
I don't have any attached documents (rtf / doc/ pdf type) in this Library, but I do use item type Documents quite a lot.

Will these be deleted?

    no, that just refers to attached files. Any Zotero item, regardless of item type, is fine.
    (This is to avoid copyright violations, since anyone can join an open membership group and would be able to access attachments and Zotero can't be in the business of monitoring whether those files are protected by copyright).
