How to remove multiple pairs of duplicates

After importing from Endnote, they were all imported twice leaving me with a couple of thousand duplicate pairs. I know it's possible to remove them one by one but wonder if there is a way to remove them all at once. Clicking through 2000 duplicate merges is a very long business.

    One thing to check is if your library just imported twice sequentially. If that's the case you could just delete the first import by sorting by Date Added in the middle panel (add columns by clicking on the table icon at the top right of the middle panel) and then deleting the lower half.
