Export citation of a computer program

Hallo,

I would like to export a citation of the statistical program R. Therefor I add in Zotero 4.0.17 a Title, Programmer, Date and URL. My last export as BibLaTeX with Coding UTF-8 showed my this export, which is ok:

@software{r_development_core_team_r:_2012,
title = {R: A Language and Environment for Statistical Computing},
url = {http://www.r-project.org/},
author = {{R Development Core Team}},
date = {2012}
}

At present, with no changes in Zotero, I get the following export, which missed the information about the author:

@software{r_development_core_team_r:_2012,
title = {R: A Language and Environment for Statistical Computing},
url = {http://www.r-project.org/},
author = {{undefined}},
date = {2012}
}

How can I get back to the correct export?

Best regards
Dirk
  • apologies for that. It's now fixed (crept in on January 8 if you need to check old exports).
    Your version of Zotero will automatically update within 24hs, or you can update manually using the "Update Now" button in the "General" tab of the Zotero preferences.

    Any further problems let us know & thanks for reporting
  • Hallo adamsmith,

    no problem. I tried an update and up to now I did not get one. My version is still 4.0.17 and the error above is not solved.

    Do you have a hint for me?

    Best regards
    Dirk

    Did you click the Update Now button? This will only update translators, not Zotero itself.
  • Yes. I clicked "Help" -> "Check Updates" (I hope this is the correct translation) as well as "Preferences" -> "General" Tab -> Button "Update Now". The first told me "No Updates Found", the second one says "Update done". However, I still have an undefined author.

    Best regards,
    Dirk
  • apologies, please try again (i.e. update then export). The datestamp wasn't updated so the fixed translator never went out to the clients.
  • No problem. Now it works. Thank you!
