error when exporting collection through betterBibTeX exporter

Report ID: 752182489

When I try to export one of my collections (about 15 entries) by right click --> Export collection and chosing the betterBiBTeX exporter, I get an error:

[Javascript Application] An error occurred while trying to export the selected file.

and the exported file only contains this text:

--------------------------------

@article{Harrowfield2004
--------------------------------

Please note that the internal Zotero BibTeX exporter works fine.

I am using Zotero 4.0.17 and Better BibTeX plugin 0.0.51 (and ZotFile 3.0.3 in case it matters) on Windows 8 x64 Enterprise.

Maybe I should have posted this issue in the Plugins category, but I was unsure. In case, please move it to the relevant section, and sorry, this is my first issue report...

    Please report BBT errors on https://github.com/friflaj/zotero-better-bibtex/issues; I can't get notified when someone posts on the plugin here, nor can I access the error report. Fortunately, "charlie80" notified me in this case.

    Could you export the collection as MODS and attach it to the bug report on github?
  • Sure, give me some minutes. Thanks for your help.
  • Oh, hey, it's your error report :) Super, appreciate the feedback.
  • Looks like I can't attach an XML file to the github issue tracker... should I copy-paste it in the text of the report on github?
  • Please paste it in a gist, easier for me to pull down cleanly
  • (you can create a gist via https://gist.github.com/ ; just share the URL here once you've created it)
  • I think this discussion can be closed...problem is fixed in 0.0.52 and is being discussed along with other issues on the github issue tracker.
