Upgrade StorageAdd author manually? PDFs imported without creator information...
I just installed Zotero Standalone and checked for updates. Then I created one collection and imported a large number of PDF files directly from a shared network drive at work. I want to sort alphabetically by author name, but no information appeared for any of the files in the "creator" area. I couldn't find an option to enter author/creator information manually for each file. Is there a way to fix this? Or a way to enter all author names by hand so that I can search and sort by author name? Thank you!

and where that fails, manually create a parent item and input the required information.
