Two part question: mac migration and syncing online with desktop
Okay, I've put this off too long and now my problem is a little complicated. Please be patient with me!
I've been using zotero's desktop standalone on my pc laptop and I love it. However, I also have an online zotero set up long ago that I never really used. I've always been afraid to try and sync them because I didn't want to somehow lose what I had on my pc. Now I want to sync them but there is a complication.
I have just bought a macbook pro. I want to get the desktop standalone equivalent for mac and I would like to transfer my bibliography to it from my pc. I would also like to finally sync with the online bibliography.
I'm a bit of a dummy when it comes to things like this so I'm hoping someone here can help me out.

aurimasWhat exactly do you mean by this? You're getting errors? This may help: http://www.zotero.org/support/kb/changes_not_syncing

Iacobus77Sorry, I was unclear. I just meant that not only do I want to sync the pc and the online libraries, I also want to transfer the library to my new mac and synch that.

adamsmithJust sync. It is intended to solve exactly the issues that you have - multiple libraries in multiple places. Syncing will never delete items that you haven't explicitly deleted, so it will just merge your existing online and local library and also put it on your new laptop.

Iacobus77Will do. Thanks!
