Sharing a collection, a bibliography of resources

How do I share one of my collections, a bibliography of resources I'm using for a paper I'm writing? Easily and quickly? I want to share this with my seminary professor, consulting with her about my resources.

    create a group, sync, the group will show up in your Zotero client, drag the collection to the group and either make the group public or invite anyone you want to share it with.

    Alternatively, if the other person also uses Zotero you can export the collection as Zotero RDF and send her the file.

    I don't think my prof uses Zotero. So if I do this the first way you mentioned, does she have to download Zotero or learn how to use Zotero in order to see my references?

    So I've created a group, synced--now, what is "your Zotero client," how do I access it or see it, and how do I drag this collection to this group? ("the group will show up in your Zotero client, drag the collection to the group"). Thank you, again, for your help!

    the client is Zotero for Firefox or Zotero Standalone - whichever you have installed. You access it like you always do - launching the program for Standalone, clicking Zotero at the bottom right of Firefox for the FF version.
    The group will appear at the bottom of the left-hand panel you can then simply drag&drop from "My Library"

    Great! Now that I understand "Client" and found how to access "group libraries," I think I've done it! Thank you!

    So I invited a new member (group settings private), my professor, sending her a personal message too, then clicking "invite members"--but she says she hasn't gotten it, doesn't see anything in her email.

    What am I doing wrong? I'm trying to do this again--and will include Zotero's internet address in my message too...

    doesn't sound like you're doing anything wrong. She is listed as "Member Invitation" under "Member Settings" for your group?

    Well, now it said I did invite a new member to my group--it hadn't showed that before after I tried to do this two nights ago. Let's see if it works this time.
