How do I sync My Library with a Group Library?

you can't currently. Only thing you can do is drag items or collections to/from your library to the group. You can only do that in your client (i.e. not on the zotero.org webpage) and only groups you're a member of will show up in your Zotero client.

I also have this issue, once a week (+ or -) In standalone, I order my items by "added date" and drag the recent items to my group. In some cases, if group has subcollections, I use the non-archived to sort them out.
