Upgrade StorageI can't get the Zotero chrome plug-in to work

For some reason the Zotero symbol won't show up in my Chrome tabs (I've installed the plug-in). In my Chrome -> Settings -> Extensions I see Zotero Connection listed and enabled, but when I click on options I can see in the "Report errors" box many JavaScript Errors ("Cannot read property 'id' of undefined," "Attempting to use a disconnected port object," over and over again). Without this, I can't figure out how to use Zotero online.
Any idea where I'm going wrong?

2. Make sure you try this with all other Chrome Extensions disabled
