769390542: Can't log in after changing password

Hi - I couldn't remember my password (why I didn't write it down, I'll never know) and had to change it. Now I can't sync, even after changing the password in the preferences in the Firefox add-on. Any ideas? Is there just a lag between password change and transfer to all proper authentication databases? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

    Make sure you are logging into the same account. The username for the account would have been noted in the password reset email.

    There was no change to username, only a password reset.

    I tried to go in and manually change the password in about:config to no avail - you guys are too smart to leave such things in plaintext somewhere...

    Now it works after I restarted Firefox. Close this, for now anyway. :)

    FWIW, the stuck preference was only relevant to the input character encoding. All other preferences should be working fine.

    And yes, passwords are not stored in about:config or anywhere else in plain text. Zotero uses Firefox's built-in credential storage, so you get the same security that you have with Firefox.
