Problem downloading PDF from JSTOR

I'm having issues getting any PDF to download from JSTOR. For example, the article here:

http://www.jstor.org/stable/41143552?&Search=yes&searchText=%22santa+clara+valley%22&list=hide&searchUri=%2Faction%2FdoBasicResults%3Fhp%3D25%26la%3D%26wc%3Don%26fc%3Doff%26acc%3Don%26vf%3Dall%26bk%3Doff%26pm%3Doff%26jo%3Doff%26ar%3Doff%26re%3Doff%26ms%3Doff%26gw%3Djtx%26Query%3D%2522santa%2Bclara%2Bvalley%2522%26sbq%3D%2522santa%2Bclara%2Bvalley%2522%26si%3D151&prevSearch=&item=162&ttl=1663&returnArticleService=showFullText

I've submitted a debug output; ID is D1397263862.

I'm using Chrome and Standalone, on Mac OS X Mavericks.
  • we'd need two debug IDs - one from Chrome, one for Standalone (for the same operation)
  • Oops, sorry about that. Here's the Chrome debug ID:

Downloaded PDF did not have MIME type 'application/pdf' in Attachments.importFromURL()
First upgrade to Zotero 4.0.11. You're still on 4.0.8.

If you're still having trouble, generate another Debug ID from Standalone, though this is probably an issue with your proxy that will be fixed in the next Zotero release (due out soon).
  • Updated, still no luck. Debug ID is D2130841001.

I had wondered if it was a proxy issue also; things were working OK just last week.

If you restart Chrome and then go to download a PDF from JSTOR, at what point and how are you prompted for your proxy username/password? Do you enter your username/password via a pop-up dialog or on a web page? If it's the former, this should work in 4.0.13 when it comes out.
  • I'm prompted via a web page for the proxy user/pass.
