Maxthon 4 and Zotero
Hi there,
I'm wondering whether there are any plans for developping a Maxthon extension to work with Zotero Standalone. Currently this is my main browser and I've got many habits with it, but I have to switch to Firefox (which is heavier) every time I have to supplement my library, which can be cumbersome due to the fact that several things are different during navigation (shortcuts, behavior, etc.).
This browser has deeply evolved since the earlier (old) versions, as it no longer uses an outdated Trident engine, but now supports Webkit by default, but is still capable of using Trident in tabs of the same window for old websites. Actually it is now very responsive, stable, has convenient features for people like us wanting to take notes or build PDF libraries (split window in two halves each with its own tabs, read mode, advanced bookmark management, cloud synchronization among different devices, etc.), and has won awards in the dedicated press (CNET, PCWorld). The Mac version (which I don't use) supports Chrome extensions, perhaps Zotero would already work with that Mac version.
Would it be feasible/easy to port one of the existing versions of Zotero (not the full add-on, let's say just the connector complementary to the standalone, at first)? Are there any plans for it? Given the features and qualities of this browser, and active development, its popularity will likely increase in the near future.

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong. I just have the standalone open on the sub-library I want to supplement, and I click on the bookmarklet when I'm on the page of the reference, where the regular Zotero icon (in the address bar) would be displayed if there was a connector extension installed.
