A lot of trouble with Zotero

Hey all,

Just trying to save sources from Westlaw Next without having to mannually enter everything. I'm using safari. I installed Zotero 4.0 and I think I have installed the connector as well.

There is a Z button on my Safari browser but it is opaque grey, and not usable right now. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Thanks!

so I tried the word plug in, and it seems to require firefox...short of installing firefox, am I basically out of options unless I'm willing to manually input citations into the stand alone Zotero?

If I do manually insert them, what does that give me?

The Word Plugin doesn't require Firefox. It works with Standalone just as well - it's possible an old error message still refers to Firefox, but in terms of Word integration there's no difference.
But I don't see what using the Word plugin has to do with "manually input citations"? The Word plugin is for citing, so first you'd have to have things in Zotero that you'd want to cite.
